Transforming regulatory compliance from a burden into a competitive advantage
DIFC AI Innovation Hub
Serving UAE, MENA & Asia
AML Labs is a Dubai-based technology startup founded in the DIFC AI Innovation Hub in 2025, specializing in custom automation solutions for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and regulatory compliance processes. We focus on automating the parts of compliance workflows that have historically resisted technological transformation—document gathering, document reviews, risk ranking, enhanced due diligence, and investigations that are currently performed manually.
To transform regulatory compliance from a burden into a competitive advantage by delivering automation solutions that achieve unprecedented operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory integrity and auditability.
Within five years, AML Labs will be integrated into the onboarding and review systems of major financial institutions across the UAE, MENA, and Asia, delivering meaningful efficiency gains and setting new standards for compliance clarity and audit readiness.
We build systems that are meticulous, accurate, and reliable. Every decision, every line of code, and every process is crafted with exacting standards.
Our solutions provide clear audit trails and explainable outcomes. Regulators, auditors, and clients can trace every action and understand every decision.
We leverage the latest technological capabilities—including agentic AI—to solve problems that others consider unsolvable, always with appropriate guardrails and human oversight.
For over 15 years, I operated at the intersection of global finance and regulatory compliance, from Morgan Stanley to high-stakes projects for regulators across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. In that time, I saw a recurring paradox: while technology brought incredible efficiencies, it also left behind a stubborn trail of manual, repetitive tasks that consumed the time and talent of the brightest minds in the industry.
As a New York-qualified attorney with a deep-seated curiosity for technology, I was in a unique position. I could see both the intricate details of regulatory requirements and the elegant logic of systems thinking. I could speak the language of compliance officers and the language of engineers. The more I learned about the capabilities of modern AI and automation, the more I realized the time was now. The tools were finally ready to build the solutions I had been designing in my mind for years.
Founding AML Labs was the natural next step. It's the culmination of a career spent bridging worlds—transforming complex legal mandates into precise technical requirements. My personal mission is to build things that last: elegant, efficient systems that stand the test of time and, most importantly, replace meaningless tasks with meaningful work. Nothing energizes me more than seeing a team reclaim their time and talent, freed by automation to focus on the strategic challenges that truly matter.
